FSLVW Meeting: Wednesday, August 3rd at 6:30 PM

Guest Speaker: Fisheries Biologist Don Alley

Our August 3rd meeting featured an informative and timely public presentation by Fisheries Biologist Don Alley. Don talked about The State of the SLV Watershed and its Steelhead: A Historical Perspective, and his presentation was immediately followed by a Q and A session.

Don Alley has been studying fish populations in the San Lorenzo Valley for decades and has an in-depth understanding of the SLV watershed and the challenges we face with climate change and the drought. This was an excellent opportunity to learn more about current local water issues from a resident expert.
